Cape Verde sailors Ruben do Rosario and Vander de Freitas Ramos Cabral celebrate their final day as Africa Partnership Station Nashville ship-riders following a recognition ceremony aboard USS Nashville. Nashville is participating in APS 2009, a multinational initiative developed by Commander, U.S. Naval Forces Europe-Commander, U.S. Naval Forces Africa which aims to work cooperatively with U.S. and international partners to improve maritime safety and security in West and Central Africa.
