A military or law enforcement handler is giving water from an 'Oasis' brand water bottle to a German Shepherd dog. The dog is actively drinking, with water droplets visibly dripping from its chin and tongue. The handler is wearing desert camouflage uniform and carrying what appears to be a retractable leash.

U.S. Navy Petty Officer 2nd Class Eliot Fiashi from the Military Working Dog Unit at Camp Lemonier, Djibouti, gives his partner "Meky" a much deserved drink of water after successfully completing explosive detection certification training, April 14. Petty Officer Fiashi and Meky are one of the MWD teams assigned to Camp Lemonier used for explosive/narcotic detection as well as security patrols. The MWD unit uses training aids which mimic distinct bomb's odor and are a significant part of the certification process for working dog teams.
