Col. Mark O'Donnell, 1st Brigade Combat Team commander addresses hundreds of attendees in a transformation ceremony held on Fort Drum at Magrath Sports Complex Oct. 17. This ceremony activated 3rd Squadron, 71st Cavalry Regiment, 7th Brigade Engineer Battalion and 1st Battalion, 32nd Infantry Regiment into the 1BCT ranks while also inactivating the 1st Brigade Special Troops Battalion.
