U.S. Airmen with the 123rd Contingency Response Group, Kentucky Air National Guard unload gear from a C-17 Globemaster III aircraft as part of Operation United Assistance Oct. 5, 2014, at the Léopold Sédar Senghor International Airport in Dakar, Senegal. More than 70 Airmen arrived with gear to stand up an intermediate staging base at the airport to funnel humanitarian supplies and equipment.
