The Fort Hood, Texas-based Soldiers of the 2nd Battalion, 8th Cavalry Regiment, 1st Brigade Combat Team, 1st Cavalry Division, convoy out from the rail yard towards Lithuanian Land Forces Rukla Base Oct. 4. The “Ironhorse” Soldiers of the 1st BCT shipped Bradleys, Armored Personnel Carriers, HEMTT fuelers, Field Liter Ambulances and other tactical vehicles as part of the U.S. Army Europe-led Atlantic Resolve, a multinational combined arms exercise involving the 1st BCT, 1st Cavalry Division, and host nations in Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania and Poland.
