Army Capt. Ashley Ritchey from Colorado Springs, Colo., competes in the women’s open bicycle 20-kilometer race at Fort Carson, Colo. Ritchey is a member of the U.S. Special Operations Command (USSOCOM) adaptive sports team competing in the 2014 Warrior Games in Colorado Springs, Colo., from Sept. 28 to Oct. 4. The Warrior Games, founded in 2010, are designed to support healing and recovery of wounded, ill and injured service members and veterans through adaptive sports.
