An F-15 Eagle pilot from the 142nd Fighter Wing, based in Portland, Ore., conducts a flyby of a Coast Guard MH-60 Jayhawk helicopter crew, from Air Station Astoria, Ore., during a joint training event held off of the coast of Oregon, Oct. 2, 2014.

The Coast Guard and the Oregon National Guard routinely train together where the Coast Guard helicopter crew played the roll of an unidentified aircraft threat and the F-15 pilots intercept and identify the potential issue. (U.S. Coast Guard photo by Chief Petty Officer David Mosley)
