USS Constitution Sailors demonstrate boarding pike drills before a crowd at the Charlestown Navy Yard during Boston Navy Week. The demonstration performed by the Old Ironsides' crew in their period uniforms is just one of many Navy events scheduled throughout the Boston area during the week. Navy Weeks are designed to show Americans the investment they have made in their Navy and increase awareness in cities that do not have a significant Navy presence.
