Soldiers from the Combat Aviation Brigade, 4th Infantry Division, Multi-National Division - Baghdad, sling load a 10,500 pound up-armored Humvee during a sling load certification training exercise at Camp Taji, March 6. During sling load operations, the Chinook is sometimes called a "flying crane," a term used to characterize the aircrafts ability to sling enormous amounts of supply or equipment using 10,000 to 25,000-pound test cables attached to cargo hooks located on the belly of the helicopter.
