Musician Seaman Apprentice Steven Lamonica sings the national anthem for the 100th anniversary of the Drake Relays at Drake University Stadium. Sailors from the Navy Operational Support Center provided color guard honors. The Drake Relays coincide with events of Des Moines Navy Week, one of 22 Navy Weeks planned across America in 2009. Navy Weeks are designed to show Americans the investment they have made in their Navy and increase awareness in cities that do not have a significant Navy presence.
