USS Constitution Sailor Aviation Structural Mechanic 3rd Class Christopher Boehlert repairs the Jackson Head Pub sign for the Enlisted Dining Facility of USS Constitution. The EDF was renamed as the Jackson Head Pub after its renovations in February and represents a time in Old Ironsides' history when the ship's billethead was the figure of President Andrew Jackson, who was not popular in New England. A Boston merchant named Samuel Dewey rowed to the moored ship under the cover of a storm on July 3, 1834 and sawed the head off the figure. Dewey later returned the head to the then Secretary of the Navy Mahlon Dickerson. (U.S. Navy photo by Mass Communication Specialist 3rd Class Anna Kiner/Released)
