U.S. Marines prepare gear and supplies in the well deck of the dock landing ship USS Gunston Hall (LSD 44) during an offload at Camp Patriot, Kuwait, June 24, 2014. The offload was in support of routine sustainment training to maintain required proficiencies and assure readiness. The Gunston Hall was part of the Bataan Amphibious Ready Group, and with the embarked 22nd Marine Expeditionary Unit, was deployed in support of maritime security operations and theater security cooperation efforts in the U.S. 5th Fleet area of responsibility.
