Several soldiers in US Army ACU (Army Combat Uniform) digital camouflage are walking through a heavily damaged ornate corridor of what appears to be a large government or palace building. The hallway retains elaborate gold chandeliers on the ceiling despite extensive structural damage, with debris, rubble, and destroyed materials covering the floor. The contrast between the remaining decorative ceiling elements and the destruction below suggests this was once a grand, formal building.

Soldiers of the 1/10th Mountain Division walk through a hall way of one of the destroyed palaces of the former Saddam regime. The Soldiers visited the Victory Over America Palace, the Baath Palace, Saddam's son Uday's palace and some underground presidential bunkers. The tour is held on Camp Slayer and last approximately three hours.
