Staff Sgt. Seth Odette, 1848th Medical Detachment's preventative medicine section, removes the collecting unit from a Center for Disease Control miniature light trap. The trap uses an ultraviolet light and a small fan to trap mosquitoes, sand flies and other flying insects.
