Spc. Thomas Green, an infantryman for Company B, 2nd Battalion, 503rd Infantry Regiment, 173rd Airborne Brigade helps Estonian volunteers rake topsoil in preparation for the construction of Jakob Westholmi Gumnaasium’s school playground Aug. 16 in Tallinn, Estonia. Green and nine other paratroopers from Company B joined students, parents and staff members to expand the school’s recreation area. The service project was an opportunity to contribute to the local community supporting the 173rd Airborne and their participation in Operation Atlantic Resolve, dedicated to demonstrating commitment to NATO obligations and interoperability with allied forces.
