Soldiers from Troop B, 3rd Squadron, 1st Cavalry Regiment, 3rd Armored Brigade Combat Team, 3rd Infantry Division, prepare an anchor point with the help of a United States Marine from the Technical Rescue team, Chemical Biological Incident Response Team, II Marine Expeditionary Force, during rigging and extracting procedures, July 23. Soldiers from 3rd Armored Brigade Combat Team deployed to the Guardian Centers of Georgia, in Perry, during Scarlet Response. Scarlet Response was an emergency deployment readiness exercise conducted in conjunction with Vibrant Response, a combined exercise held in Indiana and directed by the Lt. Gen. Charles H. Jacoby Jr., the commander of the U.S. Northern Command, and led by U.S. Army North (Fifth Army).
