Soldiers deployed to the Guardian Centers of Georgia, in Perry, during Scarlet Response. Scarlet Response was an emergency deployment readiness exercise conducted in conjunction with Vibrant Response, a combined exercise held in Indiana and directed by the Lt. Gen. Charles H. Jacoby, Jr., the commander of the U.S. Northern Command, and lead by U.S. Army North (5th Army).
