Maj. Gen. Jeffery Hammond, a native of Hattiesburg, Miss., commanding general of 4th Infantry Division and Multi-National Division– Baghdad, speaks during an unveiling ceremony of a gold eagle-head statue in front of division headquarters on Camp Liberty, Feb. 5. The statue was a gift to the Soldiers of MND-B from an influential Iraqi citizen, Dr. Muayad Muslin Hamid al-Jaburri, a cardiologist and humanitarian. The eagle head took approximately three months to complete and was created by Laith Fattah al-Turk, a renowned local artist.
