Gunnery Sgt. “AJ” Pasciuti, the staff noncommissioned officer-in-charge of the Reconnaissance Team Leader’s Course out of Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton, Calif., speaks with his Marines for the upcoming mission. For 27 days, Marine Corps Air Station Yuma, Ariz., was a temporary home for the reconnaissance Marines executing the team leader’s course. These Marines, with the Advanced Infantry Training Battalion based out of MCB Camp Pendleton, Calif., are on station to conduct phase two of three of their rigorous training, which is critical to their mission readiness.
