Retired Army Major Todd Fredette speaks at the memorialization ceremony for the Major Michael L. Munell U.S. Army Reserve Center at Fort Campbell, Ky., on Aug. 3. Fredette was a close friend of Mundell whom he met when the two became part of an 11-man Military Transition Team, advisers to the Iraqi Army. Fredette was with Mundell when he was killed in Fallujah Jan. 5, 2007. The Army Reserve center houses the 1108th, 1109th and 1110th Mobilization Support Battalions. The 81st Regional Support Command hosted the event.
