National police officers assigned to the 8th NP Brigade, 2nd NP Division partnered with paratroopers assigned to the 3rd Brigade Combat Team, 82nd Airborne Division, Multi-National Division - Baghdad conduct security operations outside a polling station on Jan. 31 in the New Baghdad District of eastern Baghdad. The Fort Bragg, N.C., based paratroopers assisted Iraqi security forces with security measures during the provincial elections.
