During Operation Sustainment Warrior 2014, on Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst, N.J., Sgt. 1st Class Sam Grimes, Virtual Interactive Combat Environment noncommissioned officer in charge, instructs Delta Company Soldiers on the operation of the mock M4 weapons system and how to control their on screen avatar before a virtual mission. The VICE system can train up to 65 Soldiers at one time with instructors watching the missions from nearby at a control station.
