Maj. Gen. Gill Beck, commander of the 81st Regional Support Command hosted a memorialization ceremony in Sanford, Fla., that renamed the new Army Reserve Center in memory of Sgt. 1st Class Alwyn C. Cashe, a Silver Star recipient from Oviedo who died November 8, 2005 after heroically rescuing his fellow Soldiers from a burning Bradley Fighting Vehicle.
