Class cycle 31 cadets of the Michigan Youth Challenge Academy and family members wait in a long line to register and drop off students to begin the first day of the 22-week challenge program. Exactly 164 cadets, male and females, arrived at the Battle Creek Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Michigan to hopefully improve their lives with the chance to earn their GED and college credits.
