Christine Gregoire greets Sgt. 1st Class Paul Scott from Camano, Wash., with Headquarters Company, 81st Brigade Combat Team, Washington Army National Guard, Jan. 7, at Camp Ramadi, Iraq. Gregoire traveled to Baghdad, Ramadi and Balad during her two-day trip to Iraq to see Washington Soldiers. Approximately 2,400 members of the Washington Army National Guard are deployed to various bases across Iraq in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom.
