Master-at-Arms 2nd Class Lisa Square, Naval Base Kitsap's 2013 Junior Sailor of the Year and a Cleveland native, checks her military working dog's temperature as part of the inaugural Navy Region Northwest MWD Competition. Sailors assigned to Naval Station Everett, Naval Air Station Whidbey Island, Strategic Weapons Facility Pacific, and NBK competed to display the skill set and camaraderie developed among themselves and their canine partners, resulting in Square earning the "best in detection" award.
