Navy Marine Corps Relief Society volunteers take a self-defense class at Marine Corps Air Station Cherry Point, N.C., June 10, 2014. The volunteers learned basic techniques that would help them defend themselves in adverse situations. Instructors from Premier Martial Arts located in Havelock, N.C, taught the volunteers counter-defense techniques to moves like a bear hug, choke from the front and rear choke.
