Marines with the Force Reconnaissance Detachment, 11th Marine Expeditionary Unit, and sailors with Assault Craft Unit 5, are transported in the water in rigid inflatable boats (RIBs) as part of a visit board search and seizure exercise conducted during Certification Exercise (CERTEX) off the coast of Southern California, June 16, 2014. CERTEX serves as the final at-sea period for the 11th MEU and Amphibious Squadron 5.
