Iraqi army soldiers from the 4th Battalion, 36th Iraqi Army Brigade, 9th IA Division, march toward the flagpole at Joint Security Station Hor al Bosh, northwest of Baghdad, Dec. 31, 2008. The soldiers are responsible for raising the Iraqi national flag above the JSS to symbolize the transition from coalition forces control to IA control.
