Capt. Jamal Khan, 1st Sgt. Jason Hall, and Pfc. Albert Delgado, commander, senior enlisted leader, and most junior Soldier, respectively, of Company D “Dragons,” 1st Battalion, 30th Infantry Regiment “Battle Boars,” 2nd Armored Brigade Combat Team, 3rd Infantry Division, march in to position in order to receive the Draper Armor Leadership Unit Award here at the Marne Gardens, March 24. The Draper Award is a very prestigious award within the Army Armor world. The Dragons recently earned the position of the Top Tank Company for the entire division due to the expertise they exercised in their gunnery in late 2013. They were also recognized by many for their crucial efforts in making the Army 2020 Physical Study Demand a success and paving the way for growth and change in the U.S. Army.
