The "Top Gun" streamer is on display of the guidon for the Company D “Dragons,” 1st Battalion, 30th Infantry Regiment “Battle Boars,” 2nd Armored Brigade Combat Team, 3rd Infantry Division, here at the Marne Gardens, March 24. The Soldiers pictured are there to witness the presentation of the Draper Armor Leadership Unit Award which is a very prestigious award within the Army Armor world. The Dragons recently earned the position of the Top Tank Company for the entire division due to the expertise they exercised in their gunnery in late 2013. They were also recognized by many for their crucial efforts in making the Army 2020 Physical Study Demand a success and paving the way for growth and change in the U.S. Army.
