Battalion commanders with the 4th Infantry Brigade Combat Team (Airborne), 25th Infantry Division, sprint off the start line in a Commander’s Relay Race June 17, 2014, at Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson, Alaska. The race pitted command groups against each other in a race around the brigade’s formation on Pershing Field. The commanding officers raced the perimeter with their battalion colors for the first lap. The sergeants major then had their turn for the final lap.
