Rockets sit in a rocket pad on the inboard side of an AH-1 Super Cobra helicopter just before it takes off from the flightline at Marine Corps Air Ground Combat Center Twentynine Palms, Calif. As a drill for the Integrated Training Exercise, the pilot will land the cobra at a runway where ordnance Marines will arm the rockets, which have a high-explosive warhead on their tips to detonate upon impacting a target.
