Republic of Korea Marine Lance Cpl. Lukas Kim, center, discusses crew-served weapons with U.S. Marine Staff Sgt. Eric J. Ellenberger June 7 at the 1st ROK Marine Division base in Pohang, South Korea. The Marines executed weapons familiarization training in preparation for Korean Marine Exchange Program 14-8, which is slated to take place June 9-21. KMEP is a regularly-scheduled, combined, small-unit training exercise, which enhances the combat readiness and interoperability of ROK-U.S. Marine Corps forces. Kim is a military policeman with Military Police Company, 1st ROK Marine Division.
