U.S. Army Sgt. Jonathan Eldridge takes a break with his dog, Bikse, after a few hours of searching for explosives. U.S Soldiers from the 2nd Battalion, 8th Field Artillery Regiment, 1st Stryker Brigade Combat Team, 25th Infantry Division and Iraqi Soldiers from 2nd Battalion, 19th Brigade, 5th Division conduct searches through the entire village of Naqib, Iraq, an Al-Qaida stronghold, for booby traps, and weapons caches on Dec 19. This joint clearing operation is the first phase of an operation in which new searching techniques will be tested in Naqib's surrounding palm groves.
