Second Lt. Clint Eubanks, second platoon commander with Company B, 1st Battalion, 3rd Marine Regiment, Regimental Combat Team 1, pays a Sons of Iraq leader his monthly paycheck, Dec. 13. The SoI will begin collecting their monthly paychecks from the government of Iraq next month, receiving their last coalition forces payment this month. Each company pays more than $150,000 monthly to local Sons of Iraq.
