Sons of Iraq wait patiently at Outpost Delta to receive their monthly paychecks from Task Force 1st Battalion, 3rd Marine Regiment, Regimental Combat Team 1, just enough to support a small family, Dec. 13. As Iraq matures in security and fiscally, next month will be the beginning of the SoI collecting their paychecks from the government of Iraq.
