Lt. Thomas Weiland, 1st Coast Guard District Command Center, prepares his class for a positive/negative reinforcement communication exercise during an Operation Center class held at Camp Blizzard June 3. Military and police members from various partner nations around the Caribbean participated in the class as a part of Tradewinds 2014. Tradewinds is a joint, combined exercise conducted in conjunction with partner nations to enhance the collective abilities of defense forces and constabularies to counter transnational organized crime and to conduct humanitarian/disaster relief operations.
