Pfc. Francisco Ko, and Staff Sgt. Antonio Rivera, food service specialists assigned to Forward Support Company E, 4th Support Battalion, attached to Company C, 1st Bn., 22nd Infantry Regiment, 1st Brigade Combat Team, 4th Infantry Division, Multi-National Division - Baghdad, complete preparations before cooking the evening meal, Dec. 23, at a joint security station in the Rashid District of southern Baghdad. The Soldiers serve two hot meals each day from a containerized kitchen, an expandable trailer used to cook food in field environments. Ko, a native of Lacey, Wash., entered the U.S. Army in January 2008 and arrived in Baghdad in August. Rivera, who hails from Trujillo-Alto, Puerto Rico, is also serving his first combat deployment.
