Developed at the Light Fighter School in Fort Drum, N.Y. The Rifle Marksman Instructors Course was designed to teach Soldiers the fundamentals of shooting a weapon and allow them to train their Soldiers on these same fundamentals. RMIC was started in May 2013 and is open to all Military Occupational Specialties. The only requirement is that the Soldier must serve at the team leader level or higher.
