Marines and sailors with Special-Purpose Marine Air-Ground Task Force Africa 14, from 3rd Battalion, 8th Marine Regiment, were in Nigeria from April 16 to May 8, 2014, training members of the Nigerian Army on combat-life saving techniques, maritime-security patrolling, beach landings and extractions, basic-ground patrolling, land navigation and mission planning.
