Naval Postgraduate School (NPS) Professor Alex Bordetsky with the Department of Information Science boards the Polish vessel Copernicus during an international Polish Special Forces and NPS led Weapons of Mass Destruction Intelligence Surveillance and Reconnaissance (WMD ISR) experiment in Gdansk Poland, May 6. Bordetsky’s team used robot technology, mobile networks and nuclear detection equipment to locate a radiological source abandoned by a notional terrorist organization aboard the Copernicus.
