Naval Submarine School Command Master Chief Glen Kline, briefs Adm. John C. Harvey Jr., commander, U.S. Fleet Forces Command, how to operate, and what to expect while operating the Virginia Ship Control Operations Trainer (VSCOT). The VSCOT replicates the ship control station on board the Virginia class submarine and dynamically simulates the ship's submerged operational characteristics while providing basic and advanced training in normal and casualty ship control procedures for diving and surfacing, submerged operations, periscope depth operations, weapons launch evolutions, and high and low speed operations.
