A young U.S. Navy sailor in dress white uniform is photographed in close profile view on the deck of a naval vessel. In the background, a line of sailors in white uniforms are standing at attention along what appears to be a ship's rail or pier structure, with a coastal cityscape and blue sky visible beyond. The scene suggests a formal naval ceremony, likely a ship's manning the rails or a port arrival/departure event.
