The guided-missile frigate USS Taylor (FFG 50) is moored in Batumi, Georgia, for a scheduled port visit. Taylor’s port visit to Georgia reaffirms the United States’ commitment to strengthening ties with NATO allies and partners like Georgia. Taylor, homeported in Mayport, Fla., is deployed in a multi-mission role in the U.S. 6th Fleet area of responsibility to contribute to regional maritime security and to support NATO operations and deployments throughout the region.
