Airmen from the 376th Expeditionary Civil Engineer Squadron demilitarize camouflage netting in a waste holding yard here on May 9, 2014, in preparation for the Transit Center at Manas, Kyrgyzstan, closure this summer. Master Sgt. Jerry Ray, a customer service operations manager from Pensacola, Fla., deployed from Travis Air Force Base, and Staff Sgt. Michael Jose Reyes, an electrician from Leesville, La., who is deployed here from Little Rock AFB, Ark., tear the netting into small, unusable pieces that are less than 12 inches square. The Transit Center at Manas was the premier transportation and logistics hub supporting Operation Enduring Freedom in Afghanistan. (U.S. Air Force photo/ Lt. Col. Max Despain)
