Airmen from the 376th Expeditionary Civil Engineer Squadron demilitarize camouflage netting in a waste holding yard here on May 9, 2014, in preparation for the Transit Center at Manas, Kyrgyzstan, closure this summer. First Lt. Perry Cansick, an engineer from Reading, Pa., deployed here from Scott Air Force Base, Ill., and Staff Sgt. Adam Ballash an equipment operator from Ormand Beach, Fla., who is deployed here from Dover AFB, Del., tear the netting into small, unusable pieces that are less than 12 inches square. The Transit Center at Manas was the premier transportation and logistics hub supporting Operation Enduring Freedom in Afghanistan. (U.S. Air Force photo/ Lt. Col. Max Despain)
