Dr. H.A. al-Hilli, director general of the Ibn al Bitar Cardiac Hospital in Baghdad, talks about the day-to-day operation of his hospital during a tour given to Brig. Gen. Joseph Caravalho Jr., surgeon general, Multi-National Force-Iraq, and Lt. Col. David Ristedt, who serves as division surgeon with 4th Infantry Division and Multi-National Division-Baghdad, Nov. 26. Caravalho, the senior U.S. medical officer in Iraq, Ristedt and other doctors and medical leaders from MND-B and MNF-I, visited the hospital to witness the efficient and professional operation of al-Hilli's hospital and to determine the way forward in strengthening the Iraqi healthcare system.
