The Navy's newest nuclear powered aircraft carrier, USS George H.W. Bush (CVN 77), heads out into the Atlantic Ocean for sea trials, Jan. 27, after an extensive seven-month Post Shakedown Availability/Selective Restrictive Availability trials, the carrier will return to its homeport of Naval Station Norfolk, Va., to begin the workup cycle towards deployment and prepare for sustained operations at sea.
