    Maj. Gen. Jon Trost is pinned with his new two-star rank by his wife Karin and Maj. Gen. Larry Shellito, adjutant general of the Minnesota National Guard, at a promotion ceremony, Nov. 25, in St. Paul, Minn. After 38 years with Minnesota National Guard, Trost will work as a deputy commanding general at the U.S. Army Training and Doctrine Command at Ft. Monroe, Va.
